Designed for LEED-Certified certification, this new type V metal building structure includes three (3) types of custom metal panels and aluminum storefront and windows. The interior of the building consists of an automotive service area, auto parts storage areas, locker rooms, showers, lunch room, offices, construction materials testing laboratory, and various other rooms.
Exterior site improvements consist of new bio swales for control of storm water, an asphalt parking lot with electrical car charging stations, concrete flatwork, auto gates, landscaping and site lighting.
The construction materials testing laboratory is used by the County of Sonoma to test strength and quality of a variety of construction material included asphalt, concrete and soils used on construction projects within the county. The laboratory includes several chemical fume hoods, custom materials testing equipment, epoxy countertops and sinks and emergency eye wash stations.
